Computer Acronyms


On, after the searcher enters his keywords, two lists are displayed. The primary list on the left, and a set of small colored boxes on the right which feature websites that pay to have their links featured prominently for specific keywords. Each time a searcher clicks on a link in one of these featured boxes, the advertiser is charged by Google. Google refers to this cost-per-click advertising program as "adwords".
